Our Technology Apprenticeships start throughout the year in over 40 different locations across the country and our dedicated teams will support you every step of the way to prepare you for interviews and help you to find your dream job. This exciting, up to date programme is specifically designed to help create the opportunity for young people like you to start on the pathway to success.

How will my training be delivered?
Training will be delivered by our industry experienced team by attending your local Academy, through independent study and ongoing training in the work place. We deliver a 12 month programme where you will initially attend the Academy every other week for a total of up to 10 training weeks. The remaining time is spent in the work place with your employer, putting the skills that you are learning in place within a real life industry. 3aaa will provide ongoing support and guidance to help you build a foundation for a life changing career opportunity
Course Length:
Minimum of 12 months – progressing onto Level 4 at our discretion. Overall it will be a 2 year programme

Entry Requirements
To be aged 16 – 23 years old*
Ideally have 4 GCSE’s – Grade C and above
Preferably English, Maths and ICT GCSE – Minimum of Grade C or equivalent
3 Years EU residency

Level 2 Functional Skills in ICT, Maths or English. (Where applicable)

level 4 progression

don't stop at level 3

Upon completion of your Level 3 Apprenticeship, you will then move onto our Advanced Level 4 Apprenticeship.

The Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in IT will build on previous Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms, allowing you to take your skills to the next level. The focus of the Apprenticeship is on self-directed research study and assignment completion.

This programme will last for 12 months in total and will involve you attending the Training Academy on day release for up to a maximum of 20 Academy training days. The remaining time is spent in the workplace with your employer.

What qualifications will you work towards?
Level 4 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals
Level 4 HNC in Systems Development

The diploma units are delivered and assessed in the workplace and the HNC units are delivered during day release to the 3aaa Training Academy.

What units will I study?

As part of the Level 4 Apprenticeship you will complete the following qualification units:

The Level 4 Diploma in IT
The HNC in Systems Development
Entry Requirements
Aged 16-23 years*
Completion of Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT
A minimum of Grade C or above at GCSE Level in English, Maths and ICT (or equivalents in Key/Functional Skills)
A minimum of 1 years commitment
