commitment and nurturing
At 3aaa, we believe in forging strong relationships with local businesses in all of the regions where we work. We particularly focus on the power of sport and the message of commitment and nurturing that sport delivers.
We firmly believe in the ‘Power of Sport’ and the beneficial effects it has on inspiring young people, helping them to kick start the career of their dreams. Many young people use their sporting heroes and memories as a source of inspiration and influence as we help them take the first steps into training and real life industry.
We also use the ‘Power of Sport’ to help engage with other local businesses throughout the regions in which we work. The ‘Power of Sport’ is an important vehicle in bringing both people and businesses together in a number of different ways.
Below you can see all of the strong partnerships that we have with sporting organisations across the country:
Derby County Football Club
2013 - 2015
3aaa have enjoyed a successful and fruitful partnership with Derby County since the start of the 2013/14 season. After initially sponsoring the Gordon Guthrie (North West corner) stand in 2013, we are now the club’s training wear sponsor which sees our logo appear on Derby’s first-team and management staff day-to-day training wear.
Our ongoing partnership with Derby County Football Club is further positive evidence of this as the two businesses share a very similar set of values. Derby County are renowned for having a strong emphasis on developing their own local youth to play for the first team. They place a huge importance on the work done within the club’s Academy and this has resulted in a number of local youngsters such as Will Hughes, Jamie Hanson and previously, Tom Huddlestone, making it into the first team.
Derby County Community Trust
2015 - 2016
After already presenting the Gordon Guthrie Stand at the iPro Stadium and also sponsoring the first-team squad’s training wear, we have now formed a relationship with the Derby County Community Trust as a presenting partner in an exciting link-up.
As a presenting partner, we have our branding placed on the kit of the Community Trust’s workforce as well as in their offices and the classroom space located at the iPro Stadium.
The partnership will also enable the Community Trust to create wider opportunities for young people in Derbyshire utilising the brand of the club to improve people’s lives through participation in sport.
Derbyshire County FA
2015 - 2019
We have recently announced a four year partnership deal with the Derbyshire County Football Association.
The partnership will ensure that Derbyshire CFA will be able to continue their work in the administration, regulation and development of the game at the same time as delivering The FA National Game Strategy. The Derbyshire County FA aspires to be a smart organisation that offers and develops football in Derbyshire through a flexible, modern and relevant approach whilst ensuring that engagement of the local community is at its highest.
It is an exciting time as the next 4 year strategy begins and with the support from 3aaa and forming this partnership it will enhance the game in Derbyshire and ensure that they can support their volunteers and also continue to work with young people. Currently Derbyshire CFA have over 1,800 affiliated teams in the county and over 500 registered referees reaching out to over 20,000 members of volunteers.
Derbyshire County Cricket Club
2014 - 2019
In March 2014, we agreed a three year partnership with Derbyshire County Cricket Club which saw us become the club’s first ever stadium naming rights partner.
The six-figure deal was the largest commercial partnership in the history of the Club and saw the ground renamed as The 3aaa County Ground as well as 3aaa becoming Derbyshire’s NatWest T20 Blast shirt sponsor.
Just like with all of our sporting partnerships, Derbyshire County Cricket Club recruited some of 3aaa’s very own Apprentices. One of which, Neil Bates has now progressed onto the Level 4 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship and travelled with their squad in last season’s pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
Norwich City FC
2015 - 2016
We are delighted to have now joined forces with Norwich City Football Club as we continue to use the ‘power of sport’ to help change the lives of young people and engage with the local communities in which we work.
Norwich City Football City Football Club, who have recently been promoted to the Barclays Premier League, share a similar philosophy to 3aaa both on and off the pitch. On the pitch, the club is renowned for its outstanding youth set-up which has recently culminated in the Under-18 team winning the Youth Cup in 2013 and has seen the emergence of a number of promising young stars, such as twin brothers Jacob and Josh Murphy.
Off the pitch, the club is passionate about its work with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation as they help over 20,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk.
2014 - 2015
In May 2014, we formed a partnership with the then newly promoted, Rotherham United Football Club.
The exciting new partnership saw us become the Millers new 'Platinum Partner' which will also include their brand appearing on the back of the Rotherham United away shirt for the next two-years. The club has also taken on a couple of 3aaa Apprentices and offered the youngsters the life changing opportunity of working at a professional football club within IT and Digital Marketing.
2014 - 2015
This newly formed partnership will see us work closely with Reading Football Club on match days and on special events within the hospitality suites. It will also give a number of 3aaa Apprentices the chance to start their dream career at the Madjeski Stadium and understand the impact that their skills have on the day to day running of a football club.
Team Raleigh GAC
2015 - 2016
In July 2015, we extended our sports sponsorship programme and put our weight behind Team Raleigh GAC, the Derby-based professional cycling team.
We have supported Team Raleigh in their bid for podium success this summer in a number of competitions across the UK, culminating in the gruelling and high-profile Tour of Britain in September.
