After winning Lord Sugar’s backing for his very own plumbing business, 26 year old Joseph Valente decided to hire 3aaa Peterborough’s Apprentice George Edwards as a Business Administrator for his company. Joseph quoted, “Apprenticeships are going to be the backbone of this country.”

Joseph, having started out as an Apprentice himself said, “I’m going to make sure I go out and promote Apprenticeships as much as possible and show just how effective they are.”

Lord Sugar has described Joseph as, “a well-deserved winner of the Apprentice” and looks forward to working with him.

3aaa asked Joseph’s new employee, Apprentice George Edwards, what it feels like to work for Joseph Valente, “I would like to thank the 3aaa Peterborough team for the opportunity to work for BBC’s The Apprentice winner, Joseph Valente. It’s a joy to work with him daily and he is an inspiring role model. I look forward to expanding my knowledge through the Apprenticeship scheme and working alongside Joe to complete my course.”

Joseph has spoken about the importance of Apprenticeships and believes it’s not just about gaining qualifications and degrees when it comes to achieving something. It is about the hard work and effort you put into things and he hopes that he can inspire young people of today to see what is possible in the world.
