3aaa Apprenticeship

Last week saw 3aaa Apprenticeships Tamworth Academy host their first ever Google Digital Garage event, delivered in partnership with Google, at our Tamworth Apprenticeship Training Academy. The Google Digital Garage covered topics such as search marketing and utilising social media for business. The aim of these workshops is to help businesses and Apprentices to make the most of Digital Marketing opportunities. For these courses, you are able to choose the topics that you or your company want to learn more about, the Google partner then delivers extensive, interactive training on your chosen topics and awards you a certification from Google and IAB Europe upon completion.
The day commenced with an introduction from The Google Digital Garage, explaining the benefits of taking part in this free, engaging course. This was followed by a hands-on workshop, where all participants got the opportunity to delve into the benefits of harnessing Digital Marketing for the workplace.
The event was a roaring success, with guests learning about new elements of Digital Marketing in a fun and educational way. Barbara Rothery, 3aaa Apprenticeships Tamworth Academy Manager commented: “This was a great event and a fantastic opportunity for our Apprentices and employers to learn new digital skills. This was an open door event for anybody with a passion or interest for learning more about Digital Marketing for their business or for themselves.”
Daniel Adey, Digital Marketing Trainer and Assessor at our Tamworth Academy commented: “This session was really beneficial, not only for our current Digital Marketing Apprentices but also for the businesses that we work with. It gave a fantastic insight into the real life digital skills required and the certification is a fantastic way for our employers to show they have gained approved digital skills and attendees are motivated to be at the forefront of the digital revolution.”
In a follow-up to the overwhelming success of this event, we look forward to hosting the Google Digital Garage again in the new year. This event will take place on the 27th January 2017, 10am to 1pm at the 3aaa Apprenticeships Tamworth Apprenticeship academy, where we will be supporting even more young people and businesses alike in becoming pioneers for Digital Marketing.
