3aaa Apprenticeship
Friday 4th March 2016
3aaa, the Ofsted Grade 1 outstanding National Apprenticeship providers are sponsoring Stage 3 of the Tour De Yorkshire.
Broadcasted to an expected six million viewers, and with approximately one million spectators, 3aaa are delighted to announce the partnership. The race begins on 29th April 2016, and 1st May will see Stage 3 of the race starting in Middlesbrough, next to the 3aaa Academy. The partnership will see 3aaa’s logo printed in on banners throughout the track, and will aim to strengthen the 3aaa vision of using the ‘Power of Sport’ to inspire young people as they set out on their career pathways. The message of commitment and nurturing that sport delivers mirrors our own approach to young people.
3aaa’s Middlesbrough Academy opened in November 2015 and have already changed the lives of dozens of young people. Colin Wilkinson, Academy Manager of 3aaa Middlesbrough stated: “The Tour de Yorkshire was a massive event in 2015 and we are delighted to be sponsoring the event this year. The 3aaa team are looking forward to watching the Tour and using the Power of Sport to support young people in the Middlesbrough and Tees Valley in the future.”
Aiming to build on their success, 3aaa Middlesbrough will be holding an Apprenticeship Insight Evening during National Apprenticeship Week on Wednesday 16th March. The event will act as a celebration of Apprenticeships, and the team will be on hand to offer support, guidance and to enlighten those interested as to what an Apprenticeship can offer them, as well as highlighting the importance of sport, including our support for Tour De Yorkshire.
