Martin Donaldson wins City and Guilds Medal of Excellence!

In October 2016, City and Guilds announced the Medal of Excellence Awards.

The criteria took four key areas into account; enthusiasm for subject, outstanding knowledge & skill, championing learning and innovation & originality. 3aaa Apprenticeships naturally nominated Martin Donaldson.

Martin joined 3aaa Apprenticeships in 2015 as a Digital Marketing Trainer and Assessor and has since advanced his career tremendously.

This award is true recognition for his dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality Digital Marketing Apprenticeships.

He took the lead on designing the Level 4 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship course with the needs of Apprentices and their employers at the heart of development. Combining this with effective learning and best practice from other 3aaa Apprenticeship courses has created a bespoke offer, that is stronger than the sum of its parts.

Also, he adapted the Level 3 Digital Marketing course, in the same way, to help recruit higher quality Apprentices and to make the course useful to a wider variety of employers.

Now, as 3aaa Apprenticeships’ Lead for Digital Marketing Apprenticeships nationally, he is supporting other Digital Marketing Trainers and Assessor’s in adapting their resources and ensuring high-quality delivery for all.

Di McEvoy-Robinson, joint owner at 3aaa Apprenticeships added;

“Martin has a genuine passion for the subject. By his own admission, he “lives and breathes Digital Marketing”. He is a true representative of what we strive for in all our staff, placing quality first. He is an advocate of our mission as a company, delivering and developing people-led Apprenticeship delivery.”

Martin is currently working on a highly original programme to facilitate our delivery of the new Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard.

His recognition by City and Guilds showcases the continued ground breaking work we do, providing life-changing opportunities on a daily basis, with excellence in Apprenticeship experience for both our Apprentices and their employers at the core.

UPDATE: Martin has now been shortlisted for City and Guilds’ Lion Awards, which is the ultimate award for training and assessment. You can vote for him here.
