3aaa team up with Norwich City Football Club
We are delighted to announce that 3aaa has joined forces with Norwich City as we continue to use the ‘power of sport’ to help change the lives of young people and engage with the local communities in which we work.
3aaa is the outstanding training provider of Apprenticeships in England, specialising in the delivery of Professional Services Apprenticeships such as Technology, Accountancy, Digital Marketing, Financial Services and Business Administration.
We are a national company offering a personalised, local service in over 36 locations across England as we look to change the lives of young people through our work with local employers, recruiting Apprentices and helping these young people to find a pathway into the career of their dreams. We have recently opened a new Apprenticeship Academy in the heart of Norwich City Centre.
Norwich City Football City Football Club, who have recently been promoted to the Barclays Premier League, share a similar philosophy to 3aaa both on and off the pitch. On the pitch, the club is renowned for its outstanding youth set-up which has recently culminated in the Under-18 team winning the Youth Cup in 2013 and has seen the emergence of a number of promising young stars, such as twin brothers Jacob and Josh Murphy.
Off the pitch, the club is passionate about its work with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation as they help over 20,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk.
Former Norwich City defender, Marc Edworthy, who helped the Club gain promotion to the Premier League in 2004 and now works as the Power of Sport lead for 3aaa, is delighted about the new partnership, commenting: “At 3aaa, we firmly believe in the ‘Power of Sport’ and the beneficial effects it has on inspiring young people, helping them to kick start the career of their dreams. Many young people use their sporting heroes and memories as a source of inspiration and influence as we help them take the first steps into training and real life industry.
“We are extremely excited about this partnership with Norwich as they share our passion and drive for helping young people and completely understand our vision of using the power of sport to do this. We therefore look forward to contributing to the club’s success both on and off the pitch moving forward.”
Norwich City and 3aaa have teamed up to produce a special video highlighting the value of the partnership and the work both parties do to help nurture and encourage talented young people.
Norwich City Senior Partnerships Manager Steve Hobin said: “As you can see from the video, here at Norwich we are passionately committed to developing young people, whether it’s talented footballers like the Murphy twins or bright prospects for careers off the pitch, like Callum and Jacob.
“We are really delighted with this partnership and look forward to a productive working relationship with 3aaa in the future.”
