3aaa Revealed as Community Trust’s Presenting Partner
Derby County Football Club is pleased to announce that club partner 3aaa has extended its relationship with the club.
3aaa, who already present the Gordon Guthrie Stand at the iPro Stadium and also sponsor the first-team squad’s training wear have now formed a relationship with the Derby County Community Trust as a presenting partner in an exciting link-up.
As a presenting partner, 3aaa will have their branding placed on the kit of the Community Trust’s workforce as well as in their offices and the classroom space located at the iPro Stadium.
The partnership will also enable the Community Trust to create wider opportunities for young people in Derbyshire utilising the brand of the club to improve people’s lives through participation in sport.
Derby County, through the Community Trust, has the ability to engage people, raising hopes and aspirations, improving the lives of the people of Derbyshire.
As a club, the Rams are committed to ensuring that they respond to local needs whilst working strategically in line with regional and national agendas and recognise that sport can play a prominent role in addressing major issues such as rising obesity levels, community cohesion, health inequalities, un-employment and educational attainment.
Through the diverse range of programmes delivered by the Derby County Community Trust, the club aim to get people healthier and more active, raise attainment in schools, develop talent pathways and improve the local community.
The club’s partnership work strengthens the entire scheme delivery programme and enables the Community Trust to work strategically within Derbyshire, constantly being aware of the cultural diversity that exists in the local community and remain committed to embracing it and providing equitable access.
Simon Carnall, Head of Community at the Community Trust, said: “The success of our scheme is built on the foundations of great partnerships and being able to add 3aaa to that list is fantastic.
3aaa, like the Community Trust, recognise the profound impact that the power of sport can have on people’s lives and we recognise that by working together we can create further opportunities for young people throughout Derbyshire.
Utilising the expertise that 3aaa have in Apprenticeships and Traineeships, we will be able to create new employment pathways for young people. “
He added: “We look forward to seeing the positive impact from working together with 3aaa over the next 18 months.”
Di McEvoy-Robinson, Co-Owner of 3aaa, said: “For 3aaa, it is an extension to a fabulous relationship that we already enjoy with Derby County Football Club.
We work with young people not only across Derbyshire but also up and down the country and we continue to want to make a difference through the power of sport, and the Community Trust certainly shares our goals.
It made absolute sense to work with the Community Trust and they share our goals to Aspire, Achieve and Advance.”
