3aaa launch new and improved website
Monday 9th November marks the official launch date for 3aaa’s new website. The website, which boasts numerous new features is more user friendly and easier to navigate than ever before.
Having been under development for the past few months, our new website is aimed at improving the whole user journey whilst being more interactive and reducing the amount of time it should take users to find the page they require.
From first viewing the home page, there is the option to go to either an Apprentice focused page or an Employer focused page. This cancels out the risk of users being directed to pages that aren’t relevant to their needs. With two separate menu systems and two separate strands of content, each page is specifically catered to both audiences.
When navigating through each section, the ease of use is clear and a great improvement from the previous site. Both the Apprentice page and Employer page allows users to scroll down one page which includes every link to the content they need, merely one click away. The new design has certainly limited the number of clicks it should take to find the right page.
As stated previously, the new site has a number of new features which should give visitors a deeper insight into the world of Apprenticeships. The Advice and Tips section highlights key skills and best practices which are necessary when taking your first steps into the world of work. From top tips, to writing a successful CV, to preparing for your first interview, this section includes numerous step by step video guides and interactive drop down boxes which aim to better prepare you for the Apprenticeship you want.
Another new feature that has been added to the Apprentice section is ‘my 3aaa Story’ which is a series of blogs from a variety of 3aaa Apprentices, speaking about their Apprenticeship journey. This gives users an insight into the life of an Apprentice and how 3aaa Apprenticeship can help change your life.
With many Apprentices taking their parents opinion into consideration when deciding on any future career moves, 3aaa have devoted an entire section to parents and the questions they may have. It includes information about what an Apprenticeship is, what job it can ultimately lead to and the benefits of carrying out an Apprenticeship.
Moving on to the employer section, there are a number of features that explain the benefits of taking on an Apprentice, while also going into the different types of funding and grants that are on offer. It also provides a step by step guide on how to hire your own Apprentice, which shows just how the process hassle free is.
Due to the close relationships many of our academies have with local schools, the new website now has an entire section dedicated to schools. This section aims to highlight what we can do to help them such as attending school events, providing careers advice and hosting employability sessions to improve interview skills. It also provides an insight into how hiring an Apprentice could benefit their school.
One of the most highly anticipated features that has been developed is the fully interactive map which pin points every single 3aaa academy. This map allows users to find their closest 3aaa academy and will relocate them to that specific academy page. The academy pages are very much localised and give information on the academy itself, what courses they offer, how to travel there and what events said academy will be hosting or involved in. This makes each page and the content on it more relatable to users from those specific locations.
You’ll now find a 3aaa Academy in BEDFORD, BIRMINGHAM, BLACKBURN, BRADFORD, BRIGHTON, BRISTOL, CAMBRIDGE, CHELMSFORD, CROYDON, DERBY, EXETER, GLOUCESTER, GUILDFORD, HULL, LEEDS, LEICESTER, LIVERPOOL, LONDON, MAIDSTONE, MANCHESTER, MIDDLESBROUGH, MILTON KEYNES, NEWCASTLE, NORTHAMPTON, NORWICH, NOTTINGHAM, OXFORD, PETERBOROUGH, READING, ROMFORD, SHEFFIELD, SOUTHAMPTON, STOKE, SWINDON, TAMWORTH, WARWICK, WATFORD, WOLVERHAMPTON, WORCESTER and YORK.
