Friday 30th June 2017
We are thrilled to announce that Cambridge-based 3aaa Apprentice, Amy Johnson has won the Miss Cambridgeshire heat of Miss England 2017!
Miss Cambridgeshire and Miss England are much more than just beauty pageants, competitors like Amy complete a vast amount of volunteering, which benefits the local community. She won due to her dedication to supporting her local community and her commitment to all aspects of the well-known pageant contest.
Amy started her 3aaa Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing in July 2016, which has taught her transferable skills about how she can use digital platforms to both represent herself and increase her engagement with the Cambridgeshire communities.
3aaa Apprenticeships’ Cambridge Academy Manager, Kelly Symonds commented on Amy’s achievement;
“Amy winning Miss Cambridgeshire is a great accomplishment for her, she has built her confidence and skill set significantly since she started her Apprenticeship journey. It has been an honour to play a role in her career journey and to see both her personal and professional life prosper.”
Amy will now go on to compete for the coveted title of Miss England 2017, where she will compete against each region’s top individual, which she is thrilled to be a part of;
“I have lived in Cambridge all my life and am really looking forward to representing the incredible region. This pageant will be helping and promoting local businesses on my journey to Miss England. Having raised over £850 for chosen charities so far, I will continue to help the Cambridge community at events throughout this year.”
