3aaa Apprenticeships, a Grade 1 Outstanding Ofsted awarded training provider, specialising in the delivery of Professional Services Apprenticeships have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Mentor delivering training and supporting apprentices in the Workplace working towards their qualification.

All applicants require a full clean driving license and have their own transport.
We are seeking an organised and motivated individual to deliver on our IT Level 3 and Level 4 provisions. Working across Northampton as per your delivery schedule, your primary duty will be to deliver our IT qualifications to enthusiastic apprentices who are seeking a career in IT with one of our high caliber employers within the region.
You will utilise your experience and knowledge to guide these learners through their qualification and assist them to achieving to their full potential. In addition, you may be asked to engage and liaise with the apprentices and their employers at their place of work, portraying your professionalism and that of the company, whilst assisting apprentices with their competency in the work place and relating this back to their qualification as evidence, ensuring that they always display the best of their work and abilities as evidence for their final portfolio.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
·Creating engaging lessons and lesson plans, with additional resources to ensure that apprentices engage and achieve to the best of their abilities.
·Continually monitor and update apprentice progress, putting in place any support mechanisms that maybe required.
·Carry out 1 on 1 reviews with the apprentice, to provide feedback, ensure the apprentice is on track and understands the aspects of what is being asked, listen to apprentice feedback, identify potential support requirements and create / implement an action plan should one be required.
·Timely marking / assessment of apprentice submissions, giving detailed feedback.
·Build key relationships with apprentices and employers alike, ensuring strong and positive lines of communication.
·To uphold the company policies and code of conduct.
·To meet with the Delivery Manager weekly to feedback on current apprentices and their progress, along with what support has been put in place and ensure constant, clear and timely communication at all times.
Requirements:
·Degree in Information Technology.
·Sector specific experience.
·Formal teaching qualification such as DTTLS or Cert Ed.
·Back ground of teaching / assessing.
·Assessing qualification such TAQA preferable.
·Knowledge of Networking and Software.
·Comptia A Plus or Network Plus.
·Full driving licence and own vehicle.
