Course Name, Details and Length:
AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy
A maximum of 2 years for Level 3 progression onto Level 4. A minimum of 12 months if it decided that the Apprentice will only do Level 3.
Your Apprentice will be required to attend the 3aaa Training Academy for an intensive 3 day block study at the start of training. This is followed by attendance at the Academy on day release every month, for the next 10 months of the Apprenticeship.
Your Apprentice will work towards:
Level 3 in AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy
Level 2 Bookkeeping introduction
What skills will your Apprentice gain?
The AAT Programme
At the start of the programme your Apprentice will complete the Level 2 Bookkeeping introduction course or the Level AAT Level 2 qualification. This will ensure that they have the relevant skills and prepare them for the start of their main AAT Level 3 Certificate in Accountancy when they start their Apprenticeship.
AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy
As well as working with you and learning valuable industry skills and knowledge, your Apprentice will also work towards the internationally recognised AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy. They will attend your Academy on a weekly day release with their remaining time being spent in the work place.
Your Apprentice will complete the following units:
Accounts preparation
Prepare final accounts for sole traders and partnerships
Professional ethics
Indirect tax
Spreadsheets software
Your Apprentice will learn these skills...
Understanding fixed assets including purchase, depreciation and disposal
Learning profit and loss and balance sheets for sole traders and partnerships
Understanding the principles of VAT
Understanding ethical behaviour in the workplace and accountancy practice
Learning spreadsheets, software and data analysis tools and techniques
Management accountancy reports and costing mechanisms

There are excellent progression routes available to your Financial Services Apprentice as they move onto a Level 4 qualification. After completing their Level 3 qualification, they will then progress on to Level 4 Business Administration Apprenticeship, allowing them to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Your dedicated Recruitment Executive will be on hand to discuss any questions you have regarding the Level 4 Apprenticeship programme. An Assessor will regularly visit you and your Apprentice in the workplace to carry out onsite reviews and assessments. This ensures that your Apprentice is on track with their work and that you as their employer are fully informed of their progress.
