Silver Birch Creative
Throughout the country, both SMEs and larger companies are constantly looking at ways to transform their business and to make their business stand out from their competition in a range of constantly changing industries.
Silver Birch Creative, a graphic design and branding company from Derby are always looking to find ways to take a step forward in the world of Social Media and Digital Marketing. Silver Birch pride themselves on having ‘big agency capabilities, small agency values and a passion for graphic design and branding’.
Andy Green (Recruitment Executive for the 3aaa Academy) made contact with former business associate, Karl Shaw (Silver Birch Director) and they discussed the benefits that a Social Media Apprentice would have on the business in a highly competitive sector. Karl said “Taking on an apprentice wasn’t an initial idea we had in mind for the Silver Birch team but 3aaa proved their professional reputation and expertise right from the start, and that the training they had to provide really was a step up from the other apprentice services out there.”
Shortly after, Silver Birch Creative then embarked on an exciting journey, recruiting their first ever Apprentice. Jacob D’Amico, a Level 3 Social Media Apprentice from the Derby Academy matched both the skills and personality that the company were looking for as they strived to add value to their business. Whilst gaining real life working experience at Silver Birch, Jacob is also completing the Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business.
Emma Shaw (Silver Birch Accounts Director) said “3aaa have a different approach to other training providers; they were fully committed to finding us an Apprentice that would perfectly fit the needs of our business and supported us every step of the way. They sat down with us and made an effort to understand the nature of our business, making it their mission to find us the right Apprentice. We’ve now welcomed Jake to the family, and are all very eager to see where this novel addition of skills and understanding will take us”
Jacob said: “I’m genuinely thrilled to have been taken on by Silver Birch, I’m excited to have the opportunity to really speak volumes for this company, to build their image using social media, to make sure businesses out there in need of the service that Silver Birch provides know who to contact. Being able to provide this opportunity for Silver Birch will definitely give me a huge sense of achievement and I’m confident in saying they’ll show their appreciation.”
