AAT Level 3 Diploma
3aaa Apprenticeships have worked with employers including TaxAssist franchisees, Charles Wells and XPO Logistics and AAT to design and develop our unique Level 3 Accounting Apprenticeship.
Over this 15 month Apprenticeship, you will cover topics allowing you to develop skills and master complex financial processes such as; final accounts, reports and returns, spreadsheet use for accountants, VAT returns and professional ethics.

Industry Recognised Qualification
Our Level 3 Accountancy Apprenticeship combines outstanding classroom training, dedicated workplace mentorship and on-the-job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to become a highly-competent Accounting professional. This Apprenticeship will guide you through AAT Level 2, SAGE Level 2 & AAT Level 3 qualifications.
Training And Mentoring
This Apprenticeship will last for 15 months, with you coming into your local academy throughout the programme. In these sessions, there will be masterclasses by industry experts as well as visits from your Assessor to your workplace every 8-12 weeks.
During the Apprenticeship, there will be 7 examinations:
- 2 exams for the AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification
- 1 exam for the SAGE Level 2 qualification
- 4 exams for the AAT Level 3 Assistant Accountant Diploma
To be accepted into the 3aaa Apprenticeships' applicant pool, you must hold 5 GCSEs (graded A* to C or 9 to 5) or equivalent.This must include English and Maths and you must demonstrate a proven passion for accountancy.
Progress Your Apprenticeship
After completion of your Level 3 Apprenticeship you can then progress onto a Level 4 Accountancy Apprenticeship. Please discuss your progression options with your local Apprenticeship academy.
