Full Agenda for our Apprenticeship Levy Conference at Wembley Stadium

With our next Apprenticeship Levy Conference just under a month away, you can now find the full agenda for the event below.

The conference, which is themed ‘A Year in the Life of the Apprenticeship Levy’, will be held at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 15th May 2018. It will start at 9:30am with registration and will conclude at 3.00pm with a 2 course buffet lunch included and the opportunity to network and ask our Levy Management Team any questions that you may have.

‘A Year in the Life of the Apprenticeship Levy’ Agenda:

9.30am – 10.00am: Arrival and Registration – Refreshments Available

10.00am – 10.15am: Peter Marples, Group Chief Executive of 3aaa – Introduction

10.15am – 11.00am: Mark Dawe, Chief Executive of the AELP – External policy update and review of the key activities from the Levy’s first year.

11.00am – 11.30am: Phil Barnfather, Talent and Development Director at Greencore – Their experiences of the Levy’s first year and how their Apprentices have impacted the business

11.30am – 11.45am: Coffee Break

11.45am – 12.15pm: Mark Novels, Head of Awarding Organisation Compliance at AAT – AAT’s approach to End-Point Assessment and how the process and qualifications work in more detail

12.15pm – 12.45pm: Peter Marples, Group Chief Executive of 3aaa – Update – how does the Levy look a year on and what has changed from the initial launch? What are the key features and what do we, as an organisation expect moving forwards.

12.45pm – 1.45pm: 2-course buffet lunch

1.45pm – 3.00pm: Afternoon Networking Session – 3aaa Apprenticeships’ Co-Founders, Peter Marples and Di McEvoy-Robinson will be delivering a 20% off-the-job workshop, aimed at helping our partners demystify and gain a better understanding of the policy.

In addition to this:

  • Delegates will be able to network with other organisations about their Levy experiences so far.
  • Members of the 3aaa team will be on hand to answer any questions, allowing guests to ‘tailor’ their afternoon experience.
  • End Point Assessment – Representatives from our partners CMI, BCS and AAT will be available to help delegates understand the End Point Assessment process and their qualifications in more detail.
